Fondateur & Director
Lok Kan CHEUNG is a Hong Kong performing artist, playwright, director and cultural curator based in France. Trained at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, École Jacques Lecoq and École Philippe Gaulier, she develops work combining physical theatre, masks, movement and narratives of memory. After founding Theatre Ash in Hong Kong, she established the Paris Hong Kong Film Festival in 2022 and co-founded CUBE [C³] in 2023, where she serves as President. Through CUBE, she develops projects dedicated to Hong Kong cinema, theatre and creative work, including the Paris Hong Kong Film Festival and Voix de la Diaspora.

Kenneth YEUNG co-founded CUBE and oversees its administration, finances and strategic development. He also contributes to the programming and presentation of the Paris Hong Kong Film Festival, bringing his experience in documentary filmmaking, translation and political philosophy to the interpretation of Hong Kong cinema.
Advisor — Communications & Networking
Florent DICHY is a French film critic, photographer and literature teacher with a longstanding interest in Asian cinema. He regularly contributes reviews, filmmaker interviews and festival coverage to EastAsia. At CUBE, he advises on communications, professional networking and the development of connections between Hong Kong cinema and French audiences.

Yung-Hang Bruce LAI is a Hong Kong film critic and scholar who holds a PhD in Film Studies from King’s College London. His research covers Chinese-language comedy, Hong Kong cinema, religion and screen culture. He is a member of the Hong Kong Film Critics Society and IATC Hong Kong, and has served on the FIPRESCI Prize jury at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.

Marie YAN is a multilingual writer, playwright and dramaturg working between France and Germany. Her work explores diasporic identity, borders, climate crisis and postcolonial perspectives. Her plays include A Tidal Home and La Théorie. She received the Mary Leishman Theatre Award and a Crossing Borders scholarship, and is currently pursuing doctoral research in comparative literature.

Taejune RYU is a South Korean visual artist based in Paris. He graduated from ESAAA with a DNA in 2020 and a DNSEP in 2024. His multidisciplinary practice encompasses painting, installation, performance and scenography. Since September 2025, he has been an artist-in-residence at 59 Rivoli and is participating in the Façade 2026 project. His collaborations include A Short Trip and the scenography for Voyage Expiré. At CUBE [C³], he leads graphic design and develops the visual identity of the Paris Hong Kong Film Festival.
